The current limitand pow er dissipation in the external series pass N-Channel MOSFET are programmable, ensuringoper ation within the Safe Operating Area (SOA). The POWER GOOD output indicates when the outputvolta ge is within 1.25 V of the input voltage. The inputundervolt age and overvoltage lockout levels andhysteresis ar e programmable, as well as the initialinsertion delay ti me and fault detection time.
